An ultra rare, Thalassocnus, a Swimming Sloth, tooth from the Bahia Inglesia Formation, Copiapo, Chile. A May Fossil of the Month. This sloth lived on the west coast of So. A rare Top Quality Megalodon tooth from the Georgia - an upper jaw anterior tooth. The crown has excellent unique charcoal gray color. The enamel is the Highest Quality. A Large Black colored bourlette which is 85% complete. Razor sharp serrations including an good tip serration. The root is a charcoal black color, nicely articulated, thick (1-1/8"), and complete. This tooth is an excellent near black color. Incredible color! Note - these Georgia Megs are fantastic - essentially little sign of wear and excellent preservation. Excellent rich black color. Exceptional posterior and anterior serrations. Note - the anterior carina end about 1/2 of the way down from the tip. The diagnostic for a Torvosaurus tooth. An ULTRA RARE Top Quality, EXTRA LARGE Tyrannosaurus rex  tooth from a large adult T. rex. An April Fossil of the Month. This Rex crown measures 4-3/4" (straight line) or 5" (on curve) and 1-5/8" wide. The enamel is the high quality. Great brown & black color. A massive extra wide tooth. You can see why this bone crusher is referred to as a "banana tooth". Overall the tooth is excellent quality with crack fill. This is a real 5" tooth. An ULTRA RARE High Quality, 6"+ Tyrannosaurus rex  tooth from a large adult T. rex. A May Fossil of the Month. This Rex crown measures 5-13/16" (straight line) or 6-1/4" (on curve) and 1-7/8" wide. The enamel is the very good quality with some wear. Great brown & black color. A massive extra wide tooth. You can see why this bone crusher is referred to as a "banana tooth". Overall the tooth is very good quality with typical crack fill and some wear from tumbling down a Hell Creek stream. This is a real ~6" tooth. An ultra rare, Thalassocnus, a Swimming Sloth, manus (hand) claw from the Bahia Inglesia Formation, Copiapo, Chile. A May Fossil of the Month. This sloth lived on the west coast of So. America during the late Miocene age. This claw is a near complete with minor erosion along the upper edge and back end. Both areas have minor restoration. Fantastic color and preservation.
