An extinct elephant ancestor that inhabited North America during the late Miocene to late Pliocene. This molar is a big with 5 cusp rows and a small amount of cusp wear. Exceptional articulation. A GEM, EXTRA LARGE Carcharodontosaurus saharicus tooth from the Kem Kem red sand deposits of Morocco. A fantastic deep red colored tooth - the most sought after color. A June Fossil of the Month. The side cusps are typical of the Otodus obliquus. Complete root. Early Eocene - Ypresian age. A very rare collector's tooth. Very few Otodus aksuaticus teeth found at this site!
