An incredibly preserved, juvenile Woolly Mammoth (Mammuthus primigenius), an early elephant, molar found in Alaska . Mammoths were present in this area during the Late Pleistocene Ice Age. A Huge, HIGH QUALITY copper red colored Angustidens - upper jaw lateral tooth from the Meherrin River, No. Carolina. Incredible light copper red & green colors! This tooth was not exposed to the river too long so it is a mix of copper red and green. No enamel peel. The serrations are sharp including the tip. One very nice, extra large side cusp.
