An ultra rare Mosasaur matrix piece with two Top Quality Mosasaurus (Prognathodon) anceps teeth with their original roots. Another May 2018 Fossil of the Month selection. Includes a massive 5-1/2" tooth and a 3" tooth in the original matrix. Both are fully rooted and perfect teeth which is very rare! This is not your typical Mosasaur crown glued to a root. This is an all original, associated specimen (beware of the fakes - discussion below). Exceptional condition and preservation.  No repair or restoration. Museum Quality. The only authentic Mosasaur specimen with two original rooted teeth that I have seen!  Note - the large Moroccan Mosasaurs are being renamed to a Prognathodon genus. Authenticity guaranteed.

Nine plus very sharp and one primary cusp surrounded by many small pathologic cusps. An excellent complete root. Authenticity guaranteed. Museum Quality collector's tooth. Unfortunately there are no more teeth coming from this site. This is a piece from an old collection.

A Top Quality Isurus desori , a Mako shark tooth from the "De Kuilen" sand pit, Mill, The Netherlands. This tooth has excellent color and perservation. Sharp cutting edge. The age is late Miocene (approx. 6-8 million years ago). This species is the ancestor to the Isurus oxyrhinchus. An excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed.
