A rare Carcharhinus limbatus tooth, the Blacktip shark, from Sumatra, Indonesia. These teeth were deposited in the Telisa formation - a shallow marine environment during the middle Miocene (approx. 15 million years ago.) A very unique collector's tooth. A rare, TOP QUALITY BIG "Georgia RED" Megalodon tooth from the Miocene - an upper jaw Principal Anterior tooth. A December Fossil 2019 of the Month. The enamel is the Highest Quality with a few, fine hydration cracks. The crown is a fantastic mix of red & brown color - very nice. An excellent, dark brown colored bourlette which is nearly complete. Razor sharp serrations including an excellent tip serration. A well preserved Armadillo scute (Holmesina floridanus) from northern Florida.  The Giant Armadillo was an oversized armadillo with a thick shell that evolved in the Pleistocene and became extinct at the end of the Pleistocene in North America.
