An EXTRA LARGE, TOP QUALITY Mosasaurus beaugei tooth from the Cretaceous of Morocco. Excellent preservation. Note - the well defined ridges running the length of the crown - a M. beaugei characteristic. This massive specimen has an excellent wide cross-section. A LARGE, TOP QUALITY serrated Nanotyrannus lancensis premaxillary tooth from the western US. The premaxillary teeth were the front teeth, have a "D" shaped base, and were not large. Most Nano premaxillary teeth are non-serrate. This Nano has small serrations on one side - rare.  This premaxillary (front) tooth measures 1" (straight line).  The enamel is excellent quality.
