Carolina.  The Giant Capybara was an oversized rodent that evolved in the Pleistocene and became extinct at the end of the Pleistocene in North America. An Extra Large, Quality Megalodon tooth - an upper jaw anterior tooth from So. Carolina. High quality enamel. The black bourlette bourlette is complete. Serrations are sharp including a good tip serration. Interesting cutting edge waves at the base of the crown. Excellent serrations for a BIG Meg.The root is black and extra wide (4-1/4" W) with typical hydration cracks. No repair or restoration.
