This ammonite species exhibits big ribs with large tubercles (nodes). Both ammonites are nicely displayed on their original Pierre Shale matrix with a flat base. Matrix size is 4.5" x 2.5". An ULTRA RARE,  Top Quality 6-1/8" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth, an upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth from Aurora, No. Carolina. A July Fossil of the Month selection. This Megalodon tooth has an incredible light tan colored crown with an excellent brown bourlette. Highest quality enamel with essentially no hydration cracks - rare for a big Meg tooth!
