A Top Quality PATHOLOGIC Carcharodon hastalis, Broad-tooth "Mako", shark tooth from the "De Kuilen" sand pit, Mill, The Netherlands. A PATHOLOGIC  anterior tooth with a severely twisted crown. This tooth has excellent color and preservation. Sharp cutting edge. A rare, Top Quality Hadrosaur tooth from the late Cretaceous of No. Carolina. Hadrosaurs are known as "duck-bill" dinosaurs found in North America. The enamel is very good quality with excellent color / patina. A great partial crown with serrations. No repair or restoration. Note - This tooth exhibits the classic characteristic shape of the middle Miocene Mako teeth found both in the Lee Creek mine and the NC red site. I do not see this Mako tooth shape from other Miocene deposits. Possibly a hastalis species variation and it is referred to as the "narrow form". Maximum size is approximately 2". This tooth has a rich tan & blue crown and a tan colored root. Excellent colors!  Razor sharp cutting edge. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. It is a Miocene tooth from the Pungo River Fm. An excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed.
