A Top Quality Abelisaurid dinosaur tooth from the Cretaceous Kem Kem deposits of Morocco. Once thought to be a "raptor" tooth, it is now clear that these teeth are Abelisaurid, a family of Ceratosaurian theropod dinosaurs with the unique straight posterior carina. They were the dominate smaller theropod in the late Cretaceous Kem Kem deposit. Excellent red color and serrations. Excellent preservation. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. A natural Hoploscaphites brevis ammonite with great preservation of the shell material. The ammonite shell exhibits excellent natural iridescence. This specimen is sits in an original Pierre Shale with a flat base for a great display. The base is a large baculite segment. This ammonite is from the upper Cretaceous, Pierre Shale Fm. of So. A Top Quality Araucarioxylon arizonicum, petrified wood bookends from Williams, Arizona. This petrified wood is from the Chinle Fm. and is Triassic age (210 MYA). A natural fossil wood section relaced by silica with rainbow colors. These beautiful bookends are 3" thick and felt lined lined inner face and bottom. They are also quite heavy at 10lbs+ each.
