An Ultra Rare, EXTRA LARGE copper-red I. hastalis tooth from the Meherrin River, No. Carolina. An April Fossil of the Month. A rare copper red color with exceptional gloss. Highest quality enamel. A Top Quality Thescelosaurus neglectus premaxillary tooth from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Thescelosaurus is a mid-sized dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. The enamel is excellent quality with excellent color / patina. Minor wear faucet from grinding on opposing teeth. Note - Thesc premaxillary teeth crown shape is quite distinct (see Thesc-Pachy maxillary teeth differentiation discussion below). No cracks or restoration. A rare rooted Thesc premaxillary tooth! Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Powder River Co., Montana. An excellent collector's quality Thescelosaurus tooth.
