An Extra Large, Quality Megalodon tooth - an upper jaw anterior tooth from So. Carolina. High quality enamel. The black bourlette bourlette is complete. Serrations are sharp including a good tip serration. Interesting cutting edge waves at the base of the crown. Excellent serrations for a BIG Meg.The root is black and extra wide (4-1/4" W) with typical hydration cracks. No repair or restoration. An EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality BLACK Angustidens - upper jaw lateral tooth from So. Carolina. High quality enamel. Bourlette is an excellent black color and complete. A very rare Top Quality, Allosaurus fragilis toe bone (pes digit). A May Fossil of the Month. This Allosaurus toe bone measures 2-7/8". High quality bone. Great rich black-brown color. Excellent overall condition. Normal crack fill with a section of the lower rim of the articulated end rebuilt. Allosaurus was the apex predator during the late Jurassic.
