A GEM, 5-1/16" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - ANTERIOR tooth. Our April 2017 Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible light golden tan colored crown with an excellent hazel brown bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Exceptional golden tan color! The serrations are razor sharp with an exceptional tip serration. Nearly PERFECT serrations. Exceptional serrations for a big Meg! The root is an excellent tan color with few no hydration cracks and a "root ear" which is characteristic of the Miocene Megs. A rare, EXTRA LARGE, GEM Quality Anzu wyliei hand (manus) claw from the Hell Creek Fm. of SE Montana. A February Fossil of the Month. Anzu is referred to as the "Chicken from Hell". A fantastic manus claw. This is 1st manus claw which is largest and most robust; often referred as the "thumb". Excellent rich brown color and patina. This specimen has incredible preservation - no pitting, nicks or wear. All surfaces are fantasic - very rare. Note - a small tip area was professionally restored which is typical for most Hell Creek claws. The repair is quite small with the repaired area being 5 mm on the right facing side of the tip. On the left facing side of tip, it is 1-2 mm. This is top quality, collector's claw from the Hell Creek of Montana. An ultra rare, Top Quality Parotodus benedeni shark tooth, the extinct False Mako shark, from the Nottoway River, Virginia. A January fossil of the Month. A Scarce Megalodon tooth from Dakhla area, Western Sahara, Morocco. This tooth is attached to a piece of sandstone matrix with a quartz crystal pocket at the base - very unusual! A ~6" Bone Valley Megalodon upper jaw anterior tooth from the Peace River, Florida. An EXCELLENT GRAY colored crown. Very good color and overall shape! Quality enamel with some wear. The bourlette is black colored, large and near complete. The serrations are worn, but are clearly visible includung the tip. The root is black, extra wide, and complete with typical hydration cracks. An ultra rare, Thalassocnus, a Swimming Sloth, tooth from the Bahia Inglesia Formation, Copiapo, Chile. A May Fossil of the Month. This sloth lived on the west coast of So. America during the late Miocene age. This tooth is complete with no wear. Cutting surface is perfect. Fantastic color. Excellent condition. No repair.  Authenticity guaranteed.
