An ultra rare, top quality 3" Sharktooth Hill Megalodon tooth found near Bakersfield, California. A location that produces very few Megalodon teeth and one of the toughest Megs to locate. A July 2019 Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon tooth remains on the original matrix block which includes three ~3" whale bones - all original as found! Highest quality enamel with a great white color. A well preserved, rare Scyphocrinites elegans crinoid holdfast from Morocco. The crinoid stem attached to these floating holdfasts. The Scyphocrinites crinoids were floating crinoids and their holdfast was actually an air bladder that supported multiple stems and calyx. This holdfast is bulbous with a fantastic detail. A peg stand is included as in the photos. These crinoid holdfasts make excellent fantastic display pieces. A VERY RARE, Top Quality Hexanchus griseus posterior tooth from the Caldera Basin of Chile. This is complete lower jaw posterior tooth from a large shark. Superb preservation and color. A "Flying" TOP QUALITY Walliserops trifurcatus trilobite, the "trident Comura".  A November Fossil of the Month and one of the collector's favorite spiny trilobites. Walliserops trifurcatus is an unusual looking species with three rows of of spines run down its back and a trident-like fork extending from the front of the cephalon. The preparation is German controlled with all original colors and no restoration. Exceptional completeness and preservation. Great natural black shell with excellent luster. The bottom of this trilobite has been cleaned out and it sits on an 1" matrix pedestal. A very difficult species to prepare. Excellent shell and spine preservation. Compound eyes are very good.
