A Top Quality Ptychodus polygyrus, an extinct durophagous (shell-crushing) shark, tooth from Dallas Co., Texas. An excellent example of this Upper Cretaceous Kamp Ranch Fm. tooth. These massive teeth have a design with 8 to 9 fine transverse ridges extending across the cusp face and transition to a concentric pattern at the base of the cusp. Authenticity guaranteed. An ultra rare, Top Quality EXTRA LARGE Parotodus benedeni lateral tooth with a massive root from the St. Mary's River, Georgia. A Miocene age tooth from the Hawthorne Fm. A November Fossil of the Month. An incredible red colored tooth! Highest quality enamel with sharp edges and tip. Root is massive, complete, nicely articulated, and has a small hydration crack.
