A very rare, Sphenodus tooth, from a very early shark. Absolutely great preservation - excellent condition with extra sharp cutting edges. These are Upper Jurassic age from Voskresensk, Russia. Note - there appears to be very minor repair (patch) on the rear of root (1/16" sliver area); left hand corner of the root of this tooth (rear side). An extinct early Deer-like Ruminant jaw (Leptomeryx evansi) from Sioux Co., Nebraska. Leptomeryx was one of many mammals that thrived in the Early Oligocene in North America. Found in the Brule Fm.
