An EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Ankylosaurus osteoderm (bony armor plate) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Ankylosaurus magniventris was the largest Ankylosaur which grew to 30 feet and 17000 pounds, and a body covered with this bony armor. A complete body osteoderm plate from an adult Ankylosaurus. The bone quality is excellent with excellent color and patina. This osteoderm has a high ridge on one side. There are some hydration cracks and crack fill. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Powder River Co., Montana. Authenticity guaranteed. An excellent collector's quality Ankylosaur osteoderm. A thick and heavy osteoderm.

A GEM QUALITY Chubutensis tooth from the Ica area of Peru - an upper jaw tooth. An August Fossil of the Month. An excellent dark tan colored crown with no peel. Highest quality enamel. Sharp serrations are 1oo5 complete with an excellent tip serration. Note - the short serration is pathologic - no damage. Very nice side cusps. The bourlette is orange color and 100% complete. A TOP QUALITY Chubutensis tooth from Peru - an upper jaw tooth. Another February Fossil of the Month. An incredible tan and red colored crown with no peel. Highest quality enamel.
