A HUGE, ultra rare trilobite from the Middle Devonian of Morocco. This is a very good commercial quality Burmeisterella aff. armata trilobite. Unfortunately, only sections of this trilobite are found at any time. So, these trilobites are assembled from pieces - a quality restruction of this incredible trilobite which is found in few worldwide locations. Commercial specimens will have some damage and some repair & restoration, but they can be offered at a relatively low price. A rare, Top Quality ~5" CLASSIC Chile Megalodon tooth from the sand layer, Bahia Inglesa Fm., Caldera area, Chile. A March Fossil of the Month. An excellent light tan colored crown with no enamel peel. Good quality enamel. The bourlette has a nice mahogany brown color and is 100% complete. The serrations are sharp with some damage. The root is excellent tan color and extra wide with a small sliver of damage on the side of the root. Good "eye appeal". Great symmetry. No repair or restoration. A new phacopid trilobite with diagnostic characteristics including schizochroal eyes with fewer facets, a broader cephalon, and a smoother exoskeleton. An excellent specimen with good detail and completeness. The preparation is German directed with all original colors and no restoration. Great natural black with good luster. Oneecompound eye is exceptionally preserved.
