A very rare, Otodus auriculatus tooth from the copper-red site of No. Carolina. The crown has coarse serrations. The side cusps are typical of the Otodus obliquus. Complete root. Early Eocene - Ypresian age. A very rare collector's tooth. Very few Otodus auriculatus teeth (early form) found at this site!

A very rare, Otodus aksuaticus tooth from the copper-red site of No. Carolina. The crown has coarse serrations over the lower 2/3 of crown that disappear in the top 1/3 of crown. The side cusps are typical of the Otodus obliquus. Complete root. Early Eocene - Ypresian age. A very rare collector's tooth. Very few Otodus aksuaticus teeth found at this site!

A LARGE, Top Quality Ankylosaurus osteoderm (bony armor plate) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Ankylosaurus and Denversaurus, a Nodosaur, were the two Ankylosaurs present in the Hell Creek and Lance Creek Formations.  A complete body osteoderm plate from an adult Ankylosaurus. The bone is excellent quality with excellent color and patina. Well preserved vascular channels. Typical hydrations cracks only. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Garfield Co., Montana. Authenticity guaranteed. A fantastic collector's quality Ankylosaurus osteoderm.  I do not see large top quality ostederms very often.

Ankylosaurus magniventris was the largest Ankylosaur which grew to 30 feet and 17000 pounds, and a body covered with this bony armor. A complete body osteoderm plate from an adult Ankylosaurus. The bone quality is exceptional with excellent color and patina. Well preserved vascular channels. This osteoderm also has a high ridge on one side. A couple of very small hydrations cracks only. An ultra rare, Top Quality Judith River Nodosaur body spike from the late Cretaceous of North America. AJune Fossil of the Month. The Campanian age Nodosaurs grew to 22 feet and 6000 pounds, and a body covered with this bony armor with body spikes along the edge of the body (see Edmontonia photo). Edmontonia is the named Two Medicine Fm. Nodosaur which is a good proxy to the currently undescribed Judith River Fm. Nodosaur. The bone is excellent quality with excellent color / patina. A complete side armor spike from a large Nodosaur. ~72 MYA. Note - there is less than 10% professional restoration in small areas for aesthetic purposes at the base. Legally collected on private land in the Judith River Fm., Hill Co., Montana. Authenticity guaranteed. An ultra rare collector's quality Ankylosaur body spike.
