A LARGE, Top Quality Ankylosaurus osteoderm (bony armor plate) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Ankylosaurus and Denversaurus, a Nodosaur, were the two Ankylosaurs present in the Hell Creek and Lance Creek Formations.  A complete body osteoderm plate from an adult Ankylosaurus. The bone is excellent quality with excellent color / patina. Well preserved vascular channels. No cracks or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Lance Creek Fm., Niobrara Co., Wyoming. Authenticity guaranteed. A collector's quality Ankylosaurus osteoderm. I do not see large ostederms very often.

A rare TOP QUALITY, Isurus retroflexus tooth, a Longfin Mako, from the Meherrin River, No. Carolina. Upper jaw anterior tooth. Excellent copper red color with exceptional gloss. The root shows very nice detail with the typical distinct enameloid build up on the reverse side. Absolutely great preservation and condition - extra sharp edges and tip - very clean. A rare, Top Quality, EXTRA LARGE Anzu wyliei hand (manus) claw from the Hell Creek Fm. of SE Montana. Another June 2018 Fossil of the Month. Anzu is referred to as the "Chicken from Hell". An exceptional manus claw. Highest quality rich brown color and patina. This specimen has incredible perservation with exceptional surfaces - no pitting, nicks or wear - superb surface articulation! There is some professional restoration which is typical for a big Anzu wyliei manus claw. The tip has a small section repaired and the proximal edge has a small triangular area repaired which starts at the center of proximal surface (see photo).
