An EXTRA LARGE, Pathologic Top Quality Hexanchus griseus tooth from the Caldera Basin of Chile. This is complete lower jaw tooth from a large shark. Superb preservation and color. Nine primary cusps with a strangely shaped first cusp. An excellent root which is very unique & extremely difficult to find! Note - there is a hair light crack. A near Perfect rare collector's tooth. An EXTRA LARGE ultra rare, Top Quality Red Site Otodus megalodon tooth from the Meherrin River, North Carolina. An August Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon is a BIG upper jaw anterior tooth from the Meherrin River copper-red site. Exceptional rich copper red color. The enamel is the highest quality, and there is a cool bite mark on the display side (see the 5th photo). The serrations are large, razor sharp, and essentially complete with a good tip serration. Bourlette is extra large and brown - dentin layer. The root is wide & complete. A Pliocene Meg tooth. Note - the front center strip of enamel was professionally restored (high point of the tooth only). An old collection piece from the rarest location to find a top quality Megalodon tooth - rarer than Lee Creek, Peru, Bone Valley, etc. Authenticity guaranteed. A GORGEOUS GEM, Extra Large red colored Auriculatus tooth - an upper jaw anterior tooth from the Meherrin River in northeastern No. Carolina. Incredible rare deep red colors - the BEST! An April 2019 Fossil of the Month. Highest quality enamel. No enamel peel. The bourlette is excellent. The serrations are sharp and large tip serration. Excellent side cusps. A rare, Top Quality Classic Red Site Carcharocles megalodon from the Meherrin River, North Carolina. This Meg is an incredible upper jaw anterior tooth. An April Fossil of the Month. NC002 has an incredibly rich copper-red color. Fantastic color! The enamel is the highest quality with exceptional gloss. The serrations are large and 100% complete with a perfect tip. Bourlette is brown and 80% complete with minimal dentin layer exposed. The root is completeand nicely articulated. A very well preserved tooth. This is a gorgeous Miocene Meg with "root ear" develoment and grooves on the root end sides. Note - you rarely see a copper red colored Megalodon tooth that has a top quality crown and serrations and a complete root - a top 1% tooth from this site!
