Two well preserved horse teeth (Equus sp. ) and a deer tooth (Odocoileus sp.) from Okeechobee, Florida.  The horse arrived in North America during the late Pliocene and became extinct at the end of the Pleistocene. Deer arrived in No. America in the mid-Miocene. These teeth reside on their original hard sandstone matrix. Lots of prep time required to expose these teeth. Very well fossilized specimens. A rare Top Quality PATHOLOGIC Carcharodon hastalis, Broad-tooth "Mako", shark tooth from the "De Kuilen" sand pit, Mill, The Netherlands. The end of the crown of this PATHOLOGIC lower lateral tooth is severely twisted lingually (nearly 90 degrees!). This tooth has excellent color and preservation. Sharp cutting edge. The age is late Miocene (approx. 6-8 million years ago). This species is the ancestor to the Great White shark and Carcharomodus escheri.. An excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed.

A rare, Top Quality Edmontosaurus annectens fossil skin specimen from the late Cretaceous of North America. An August Fossil of the Month. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. This is a well presereved fossil skin section that sits on top of a section of bone.
