A GEM, 4-3/8" Classic Peruvian Megalodon tooth. Our February 2017 Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible light orange colored crown with an exceptional two tone bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Exceptional light orange color! The bourlette is excellent and complete. The serrations are extra large and razor sharp with an exceptional tip serration. Essentially PERFECT serrations with partial damage to one. Exceptional serrations! The root is an excellent white color. This Megalodon was found in the Ocucate area of Peru (Miocene age). Note -  the "root ears"on the root and the exceptionally large serrations - Miocene traits.  One of the finest examples of a classic Peruvian Miocene Megalodon tooth considering the shape, color, and preservation. A TOP QUALITY very rare classic Parotodus benedeni tooth from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. Lateral tooth. The crown has sharp cutting edges. Excellent tan color with a light tan root and bourlette. The root is ~3/4" thick and shows typical hydration cracks. This Parotodus tooth was found in the Yorktown Formation (Pliocene age). A rare Top Quality Camptosaurus humerus bone from the Morrison Fm. This juvenile Camptosaurus humerus measures 9-1/2". The bone is high quality. Excellent brown color and patina. Great overall condition with no restoration. Just basic crack fill. Camptosaurus was a large, bipedal  ornithischian herbivore that lived during the late Jurassic. Legally collected on private land in the Big Horn Basin, Wyoming. Authenticity guaranteed.  Complete Jurassic bones are rare!

An ultra rare, top quality 5-3/4" Sharktooth Hill Megalodon tooth found in the Round Mountain Silt near Bakersfield, California. A location that produces very few Megalodon teeth and one of the toughest Megs to locate. This tooth was found in the Ernst West quarry. An October Fossil of the Month.  This Megalodon tooth has the highest quality enamel with a great Blue & Tan color. The bourlette is a brown color and nearly complete. The root is nicely articulated and complete. The serrations are complete with a good tip serration - incredible serrations for a large Sharktooth Hill Meg tooth! This is a middle Miocene Meg. Note - the grooves on the root ends and the small root "ears" at the top of the root - a Miocene Meg tooth feature!  Note - a 3/8" enamel section pooped off and was reattached on the right side (1/2" from the root). You do not see large middle Miocene Sharktooth Hill Megs from Bakersfield, California very often. One of the rarest Megs! Authenticity guaranteed. An incredible Museum Quality Sharktooth Hill Megalodon tooth that came out of a 25 year old old collection!  A custom display stand is included. A very rare Top Quality, Allosaurus fragilis toe bone (pes digit). A May Fossil of the Month. This Allosaurus toe bone measures 2-7/8". High quality bone. Great rich black-brown color. Excellent overall condition. Normal crack fill with a section of the lower rim of the articulated end rebuilt. Allosaurus was the apex predator during the late Jurassic.
