A GEM, 4-3/8" Classic Peruvian Megalodon tooth. Our February 2017 Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible light orange colored crown with an exceptional two tone bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Exceptional light orange color! The bourlette is excellent and complete. The serrations are extra large and razor sharp with an exceptional tip serration. Essentially PERFECT serrations with partial damage to one. Exceptional serrations! The root is an excellent white color. This Megalodon was found in the Ocucate area of Peru (Miocene age). Note -  the "root ears"on the root and the exceptionally large serrations - Miocene traits.  One of the finest examples of a classic Peruvian Miocene Megalodon tooth considering the shape, color, and preservation. An Ultra Rare, LARGE Top Quality Sharktooth Hill Megalodon tooth found in the Round Mountain silt near Bakersfield, California. A location that produces very few Megalodon teeth and one of the toughest Meg teeth to locate. This "Bakersfield white" tooth was found in Ernst "whale quarry". Highest quality enamel with a great light tan color. The bourlette is a white color and mostly dentin layer. The serrations are extra large and 100% complete with a great tip. The root is nicely articulated and complete. Also note the grooves on the root ends - a Miocene trait. Note - This is a middle Miocene Meg has tip repair. You will not see large middle Miocene Sharktooth Hill Megs from Bakersfield, California very often. One of the rarest Megs! Authenticity guaranteed. An incredible rare "white" Meg collector's tooth!   A custom display stand is included.

A LARGE, MUSEUM QUALITY Rhynchodercetis aff. yovanovitchi fish. This Rhynchodercetis aff. yovanovitchi, a Needle fish, is 4-3/8"+ in length. There is also another unidentified fossil fish (1-1/2"). Incredible detail. Excellent preservation and incredible preparation. This is a Cretaceous specimen from Taouz, Morocco. Rare specimen! A top quality collector's piece.

An ultra rare, 4" GEM North Carolina Carcharocles megalodon - upper jaw tooth from the copper-red site. It has an exceptional copper-red colored crown with an exceptional dark brown bourlette - 100% complete. Razor sharp serrations with a needle-like tip serration. The root is complete and very nicely articulated. Note - you rarely see a copper-red Meg that has a top quality crown, bourlette, root and, serrations - a top 1% tooth from this site! Definitely, one of the finest copper-red Megalodon teeth that I have seen! The BEST of the BEST!
