An incredibly preserved, juvenile Woolly Mammoth (Mammuthus primigenius), an early elephant, molar found in Alaska . Mammoths were present in this area during the Late Pleistocene Ice Age. Fantastic natural color!  This molar has a nicely articulated chewing surface. A complete root - very rare. Completely fossilized. Weighs 1.5 lbs. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. The October 2015 Week #2 FOTM is a rare, TOP QUALITY North Carolina Carcharocles megalodon. An excellent tooth from the copper-red site. It has an incredible copper-red colored crown.
