A LARGE, Top Quality Carcharodon hastalis, Broad-tooth Mako, shark tooth - upper jaw anterior tooth from the Bahia Iglesa Fm. of Chile. This tooth has a light blue crown and a tan root. Excellent color! Razor sharp cutting edge with three cutting edge waves at the base of the crown - a very unusual pathology. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. Perfect tooth. Well preserved egg shell pieces from Gastornis, an extinct Giant Flightless Bird, from southern France. This giant bird stood over 6 feet tall with a giant skull and beak. A very unique shell design. These egg shell pieces are typical size with a shell thickness of 1/8"+. They are early Eocene age shells and were found in Aix Basin, Provence, France. All natural. No restoration.
