This is the largest ear bone that I have seen - possibly from the giant Livyatan melvillei sperm whale? This ear bone (Tympanic bulla) is complete and incredibly high quality. The nicest and largest one that I have seen. 100% complete with a small amount of matrix on the back side. It has exceptional preservation, fantastic brown color, and is exceptionally clean. A GEM, LARGE Seal Canine tooth from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. The seal teeth are rarely seen and they do not get any better quality than this one. An incredibly preserved Miocene seal canine tooth. A fantastic collector's tooth. It is ashame that there is no more access to the Lee Creek mine. This is an old collection piece.
