An Ultra Rare, LARGE Top Quality Sharktooth Hill Megalodon tooth found in the Round Mountain silt near Bakersfield, California. A location that produces very few Megalodon teeth and one of the toughest Meg teeth to locate. This "Bakersfield white" tooth was found in Ernst "whale quarry". Highest quality enamel with a great light tan color. The bourlette is a white color and mostly dentin layer. The serrations are extra large and 100% complete with a great tip. The root is nicely articulated and complete. Also note the grooves on the root ends - a Miocene trait. Note - This is a middle Miocene Meg has tip repair. You will not see large middle Miocene Sharktooth Hill Megs from Bakersfield, California very often. One of the rarest Megs! A Top Quality, Rare Pachychephalosaurus wyomingensis spike from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. A complete node with good articulation. Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by these spikes and nodes. These spikes and nodes were part of the Pachy skull. This spike has excellent color / patina. It is a complete specimen with no cracks or breaks. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Powder River Co., Montana. A Top Quality Thescelosaurus neglectus pes ungual (foot claw) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Thescelosaurus is a mid-sized dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. This claw is excellent quality with excellent color / patina. A little erosion at the tip, but otherwise a perfect claw. Note - Thesc unguals are described as flat triangles.(see Thesc-Pachy claw differentiation discussion below). No repair and no restoration. A rare Thescelosaurus pes ungual! Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Powder River Co., Montana. Excellent collector's quality Thescelosaurus claw. A TOP QUALITY, very rare Basilosaurus cetoides, an Archaeocete whale tooth found in the Suwanee River, Suwanee Co., Florida. An excellent incisor or canine tooth (see photo for tooth positions).  An excellent light brown colored crown and root. Nicely articulated. Note - enamel tip shows wear pattern on crown from grinding. Whales do not shed their teeth like the sharks so there teeth will wear with age. An Eocene age tooth (35 MYA).  No repair or restoration. A great Archaeocete tooth from the Suwanee River, Florida.  A very rare collector's tooth from an old collection.
