A very rare Glyphis glyphis tooth, the Speartooth shark, from Sumatra, Indonesia. These teeth were deposited in the Telisa formation - a shallow marine environment during the middle Miocene (approx. 15 million years ago.) A very unique collector's tooth. A rare Top Quality, Suchomimus tenerensis tooth from Niger. This Suchomimus crown measures 1-13/16". The enamel is high quality. Great rich dark brown color. Excellent ribbing pattern. Minor crack fill. Very good overall condition. No repair or restoration. Suchomimus is a genus of spinosaurid dinosaur that lived in the Late Cretaceous (115 million years ago) . A rare Mako shark tooth from Sumatra, Indonesia. These teeth appear to be juvenile Isurus desori teeth (narrow crown) and are scarce in the Sumatran deposit. A TOP QUALITY, very rare Basilosaurus cetoides, an Archaeocete whale tooth found in the Suwanee River, Suwanee Co., Florida. An excellent canine or incisor tooth (see photo for tooth positions).  An incredible red colored crown and a brown root. Nicely articulated. Note - enamel tip shows a very small wear pattern on crown. Whales do not shed their teeth like the sharks so there teeth will wear with age.
