A Very Rare, HIGH QUALITY Parotodus benedeni, the False Mako, tooth from Sharktooth Hill, near Bakersfield, California. This tooth has a nice tan & orange colored enamel and a very massive root. This is a newly named species from the Late Cretaceous deep water Northumberland Formation deposit. The crown near complete and root is complete. Good quality enamel.
