A rare Top Quality Megalodon tooth from the St. Mary's River, Georgia - an upper jaw anterior tooth. A June Fossil of the Month. The crown has excellent unique red & tan color with unique St. Mary's River red circles. The enamel is the Highest Quality with small hydration cracks. A Large Red colored bourlette which is complete. Razor sharp serrations including an excellent tip serration. The root is a red brown color, nicely articulated, robust, and complete. This tooth is an excellent example a very scarce, top quality St. Mary's River Red Meg. Incredible color with circle patterns! Excellent overall quality and preservation. Very good anterior and posterior serrations. Excellent growth waves near cutting edge. Large position tooth in jaw - extra wide crown. Absolutely no cracks running across the tooth. There is an one inch area on the reverse side that must of lifted and it was stabilized. No restoration.
