An EXTRA LARGE Top Quality, Isurus oxyrinchus, the Shortfin Mako shark tooth (upper jaw anterior tooth) from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. A gorgeous Kosmoceras sp. ammonite from the Riazan region of Russia. Incredible pyrite replaced ammonites. Natural shell exterior is well preserved. Middle Jurassic age. No repair or restoration. This tooth has a brown, blue & charcoal crown and a brown root. Excellent color! Razor sharp cutting edge. Extra wide root (2-5/16"). Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root.
