An Ultra Rare, LARGE Hexanchus griseus tooth from the Sacaco area of Peru. This is complete lower jaw tooth. Superb preservation and color. Fantastic charcoal gray color - very unique! A very rare Top Quality Paraisurus compressus, an extinct Mackerel shark, tooth from Tarrant Co., Texas. An excellent example of this Lower Cretaceous Paw Paw Fm. tooth. A Top Quality Ptychodus whipplei, an extinct durophagous (shell-crushing) shark, tooth from Collin Co., Texas. An excellent example of this Upper Cretaceous Arcadia Park Fm. tooth. These massive teeth have a design with a very tall conical cusp with transverse ridges extending across the cusp face, but typically do not reach the margin. Authenticity guaranteed. Perfect tooth.

A GEM, LARGE Seal Canine tooth from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. The seal teeth are rarely seen and they do not get any better quality than this one. An incredibly preserved Miocene seal canine tooth. A fantastic collector's tooth. It is ashame that there is no more access to the Lee Creek mine. This is an old collection piece.

A Top Quality, Carcharodon hastalis,  Mako shark tooth (upper anterior jaw tooth) from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. Note - This tooth exhibits the classic characteristic shape of the middle Miocene Mako teeth found both in the Lee Creek mine and the NC red site. I do not see this Mako tooth shape from other Miocene deposits. Possibly a hastalis species variation and it is referred to as the "narrow form". Maximum size is approximately 2". This tooth has a rich  blue crown and a tan colored root. Excellent colors!  Razor sharp cutting edge. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. It is a Miocene tooth from the Pungo River Fm. An excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. A perfect "Pungo" hastalis tooth.
