A High Quality Thescelosaurus neglectus ilium (hip bone) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Thescelosaurus is a mid-sized dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. The ilium is the weight bearing bone in the hip and it also is bone rarely seen. The hip socket area is well preserved. This bone quality is excellent with excellent color and patina. No repair or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Garfield Co., Montana. An excellent collector's quality Thescelosaurus ilium section. Authenticity guaranteed. A some erosion the proximal end. Note - Thesc unguals are described as flat triangles.(see Thesc-Pachy claw differentiation discussion below). No repair and no restoration. A GORGEOUS, "Bumble Bee" Chubutensis tooth - an upper jaw anterior tooth from the Meherrin River red site in northeastern No. Carolina. The "Bumble Bee" tooth with incredible rare yellow and black colors! A January 2020 Fossil of the Month. Highest quality enamel. No enamel peel. An ultra rare, 4" GEM North Carolina Carcharocles megalodon - upper jaw tooth from the copper-red site. It has an exceptional copper-red colored crown with an exceptional dark brown bourlette - 100% complete. Razor sharp serrations with a needle-like tip serration. The root is complete and very nicely articulated. Note - you rarely see a copper-red Meg that has a top quality crown, bourlette, root and, serrations - a top 1% tooth from this site! The October 2015 Week #2 FOTM is a rare, TOP QUALITY North Carolina Carcharocles megalodon. An excellent tooth from the copper-red site. It has an incredible copper-red colored crown. The enamel is the highest possible quality with small hydration cracks. A nice dark brown bourlette. Exceptional serrations and tip - one serration missing. Incredible condition for a big NC Meg. An excellent dark brown root, extra wide and slight damage on the reverse. Fantastic triangular shape. A gorgeous North Carolina copper-red Megalodon shark tooth. An exceptional collector's tooth.
