An Ultra Rare, LARGE copper-red Parotodus benedeni tooth from the Meherrin River, No. Carolina. Rare deep copper red color with exceptional gloss. Highest quality enamel. Great preservation and condition - extra sharp edges and needle-like tip - very clean & very rare. The root shows very nice detail and is complete and extra large with a little surface pitting. This tooth appears to be a Yorktown Fm., Pliocene age tooth. No repair or restoration.  Exceptional color! An exceptional, rare collector's tooth! Authenticity guaranteed. An ultra rare, Thalassocnus, a Swimming Sloth, claw. This sloth lived on the west coast of So. America during the late Miocene age. The rare claw is from the Bahia Inglesia Formation, Copiapo, Chile. Fantastic red color. Very good condition with minor damage (erosion). No repair.  I have not seen a swimming sloth claw for sale before. This is all of the sloth material that I have from 10+ years ago! A rare collector's claw.
