A natural Hoploscaphites nodosus ammonite and a Nautilus (Eutrephoceras) with excellent preservation of the shell material. A December Fossil of the Month. This ammonite species exhibits big ribs with large tubercles (nodes). Both ammonites are nicely displayed on their original Pierre Shale matrix with a flat base. Matrix size is 4.5" x 2.5". Three natural Hoploscaphites nebrascensis ammonites in a cluster with excellent preservation of the shell material. There are three ammonites in this cluster. The shell material has some natural iridescence.  This ammonite species exhibits big ribs with multiple rows of tubercles (nodes). An ULTRA RARE, Top Quality 5-7/8" Tyrannosaurus rex tooth with root. This crown measures 2-1/4" and is root thick (1-1/2"). The crown and root enamel has very good color and patina. Serrations are worn and there is some enamel peel. Tip end is worn round which is very typical with adult Rex teeth. Several cracks in the crown were filled and stabilized.
