An Extra Large, Top Quality Archimedes sp. bryozoan specimen from Adams Co., Illinois. A January Fossil of the Month. This bryozoan is shaped like and named after the famous Archimedes spiral. Excellent preservation. Note - 7/8" wide. This Archimedes bryozoan was found in the Warsaw Fm., and is Mississippian age (325 MYA). Authenticity guaranteed. A rare, Top Quality Thescelosaurus neglectus metatarsal (II) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Thescelosaurus is a mid-sized dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. This is the metatarsal for toe #2. This bone has excellent quality with excellent color / patina. Minor crack fill. No repair or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Garfield Co., Montana. Excellent collector's quality Thescelosaurus toe bones. Authenticity guaranteed.
