An EXTRA LARGE Top Quality, Carcharodon hastalis,  Mako shark tooth (upper jaw lateral tooth) from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. Note - This tooth exhibits the classic characteristic shape of the middle Miocene Mako teeth found both in the Lee Creek mine and the NC red site. I do not see this Mako tooth shape from other Miocene deposits. Possibly a hastalis species variation and it is referred to as the "narrow form". Maximum size is approximately 2". This tooth has a rich  tan crown and a light tan colored root. Excellent colors!  Razor sharp cutting edge. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. It is a Miocene tooth from the Pungo River Fm. An excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed.

An ultra rare, Top Quality Red Site Carcharocles megalodon posterior tooth from the Pamunkey River, Virginia. A fantastic copper-red color. Great color! The enamel is the highest quality with hydration cracks. The serrations are sharp and complete with a great tip serration. Bourlette is dark brown and mostly dentin layer. The root is complete. Definitely a Miocene Meg with serration bumps at base. Note - you rarely see a copper red colored Megalodon tooth that has a top quality crown and serrations and a complete root. No repair or restoration. A LARGE Ultra Rare, Top Quality Pachychephalosaurus wyomingensis premaxillary tooth from the late Cretaceous of northern North America.  This tooth is often referred to as the Pachy "Fang". There are posterior serrations present on this tooth. There is also a small wear facet on the tip (quite common). Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by spikes. The enamel is excellent quality with great color and patina.
