A very rare, LARGE, Top Quality Edestus heinrichi shark tooth, from Herrin, Illinois. This is a Paleozoic shark that lived in swamps that our now underground coal deposits. A rare double crown section with lots of pyrite. Excellent preservation, serrations, and serration detail. The Edestus shark would have an upper and lower tooth whorl that are vertically opposed. Research showed that they could use their opposing teeth in a scissor-like motion or a vertical whipping motion to cut prey. It is the first animal to cut vertically. A very strange looking and unique acting shark. Shark recreation image is credited to Julio Lacerdo. These rare teeth are Pennsylvanian age from Illinois. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed.

A Top Quality Megalodon tooth from Georgia - an lower jaw anterior tooth. The crown has excellent unique tan color with a wisp of black. The enamel is the Highest Quality with small hydration cracks. A Large Black colored bourlette which is  complete. Extra large, razor sharp serrations including an excellent tip serration. The root is a brown color, nicely articulated, robust, and complete. This tooth is exhibits large serrations and small grooves on the root ends. A rare, Eremiasaurus heterodontontus (Mosasaur) jaw section with two plus original teeth in the jaw. Note -  the original teeth remaining in the jaw are quite rare. The jaw bone and teeth exhibit exceptional condition and preservation (very rare). This wonderful specimen is very mineralized.
