A rare, incredibly preserved LARGE Asterocidaris bistriata, a fossil club echinoid (urchin). The specimen is fully inflated, nicely articulated, and complete with long spines - a very aesthetic display. A new phacopid trilobite with diagnostic characteristics including schizochroal eyes with fewer facets, a broader cephalon, and a smoother exoskeleton. An excellent specimen with good detail and completeness.
