An Ultra Rare, copper-red Parotodus benedeni tooth from the Meherrin River, No. Carolina. Rare deep cherry red color with exceptional gloss. Highest quality enamel. Great preservation and condition - extra sharp edges and a naturally rounded tip - very clean. The root shows very nice detail and is complete and large. This tooth appears to be a Yorktown Fm., Pliocene age tooth. No repair or restoration.  Exceptional color! An exceptional, rare collector's tooth! Authenticity guaranteed. A rare, Top Quality, EXTRA LARGE Anzu wyliei hand (manus) claw from the Hell Creek Fm. of SE Montana. Another June 2018 Fossil of the Month. Anzu is referred to as the "Chicken from Hell". An exceptional manus claw. Highest quality rich brown color and patina. This specimen has incredible perservation with exceptional surfaces - no pitting, nicks or wear - superb surface articulation! There is some professional restoration which is typical for a big Anzu wyliei manus claw. The tip has a small section repaired and the proximal edge has a small triangular area repaired which starts at the center of proximal surface (see photo). A LARGE, Top Quality Ankylosaurus osteoderm (bony armor plate) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Ankylosaurus and Denversaurus, a Nodosaur, were the two Ankylosaurs present in the Hell Creek and Lance Creek Formations.  A complete body osteoderm plate from an adult Ankylosaurus. The bone is excellent quality with excellent color and patina. Well preserved vascular channels. Typical hydrations cracks only. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Garfield Co., Montana. Authenticity guaranteed. A fantastic collector's quality Ankylosaurus osteoderm.  I do not see large top quality ostederms very often.
