An Ultra Rare, copper-red Parotodus benedeni tooth from the Meherrin River, No. Carolina. Rare copper red color with exceptional gloss. Highest quality enamel. Great preservation and condition - extra sharp edges and a rounded tip - very clean. The root shows very nice detail and is complete and large. This tooth is similar to the Sperm whale teeth found at the Sharktooth Hill site. I have only seen four teeth. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. Unfortunately there are no teeth coming from this site 19 years!
