A LARGE, TOP QUALITY serrated Nanotyrannus lancensis premaxillary tooth from the western US. The premaxillary teeth were the front teeth, have a "D" shaped base, and were not large. Most Nano premaxillary teeth are non-serrate. This Nano has small serrations on one side - rare.  This premaxillary (front) tooth measures 1" (straight line).  The enamel is excellent quality. Note -This tooth also has a wide base for a Nano premax tooth. No cracks. No repair or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Garfield Co., Montana. A TOP QUALITY Megalonyx leptostomus sloth claw from an extinct genus of giant ground sloths and our December 2017 Fossil of the Month. This claw has excellent preservation and shows little water wear. It's complete down to a nice tip with absolutely no restoration or repair. Excellent preservation of the proximal end.
