Colorful Jurassic "gem" dinosaur bone from the Morrison Fm., Moffat Co., Colorado. Silica (agate) replaced sauropod dinosaur limb or vertebra bone. The bone pore structure is well perserved and gives the bone a wonderful natural "textured" look with different colorization. Colors include reds, orange, gold, blue, cream, charcoal, etc. Late Jurassic age (155 MYA). Excellent preservation and preparation. All natural with one highly polished face. Our 2nd November FOTM is a GEM quality, rare Araucaria mirabilis pine cone specimen from Argentina. Extra large stem. Exceptional definition. Only slightly compressed. One of the finest pine cones that I have seen! No repair (that goes for all of the pine cones). This ultra rare cone is from an old collection with no new supply available. Authenticity guaranteed. An ultra rare, Top Quality Hexanchus tusbairicus, Six-gill Cow shark, tooth from Kert, Kazakhstan. This lower jaw tooth has ten primary cusps. An Eocene (Bartonian), Shorym Fm. Cow shark species. An EXTRA LARGE, TOP QUALITY, Carcharodon (Isurus) hastalis tooth with an excellent blue color from the Sharktooth Hill area, Bakersfield, California. This tooth is nicely displayed on its original Round Mountain silt matrix. The root is very well preserved with a brown color. Very clean crown.
