A Top Quality, EXTRA LARGE Otodus obliquus tooth from the Khouribga phosphate mining area of Morocco. M020 is embedded in its original matrix. This tooth has an excellent golden tan color and a white root. Sharp edges and tip. The side cusps are complete. A massive, thick root. Note - possible crack in root. No repair or restoration. A Top Quality, Otodus obliquus pathologic tooth from the Khouribga phosphate mining area of Morocco. The PERFECT, very rare Parotodus benedeni tooth. An April 2019 Fossil of the Month. Lateral tooth. The crown has extremely sharp cutting edges. Exceptional light tan & blue color and preservation. An incredible wide bourlette. The root is ~5/8" thick and shows few small hydration cracks! Note- grooves on the sides of the root lobes - a Miocene tooth trait.
