An ultra rare Top Quality Carcharodon hastalis, Broad-tooth Mako, shark tooth - upper jaw anterior tooth from the Bahia Iglesa Fm. of Chile. An April Fossil of the Month. This tooth has a brown, blue & charcoal crown and a brown root. Excellent color! Razor sharp cutting edge. Extra wide root (2-5/16"). Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. An ULTRA RARE, MONSTER Great White shark tooth - upper jaw anterior tooth from Chile. A BIG pathologic GW tooth. A June Fossil of the Month. This tooth has a BLUE colored crown, a distinct gum line, and a burgundy root. Fantastic color! Highest quality enamel with little hydration cracks and no peeling. The enamel does have large wrinkles and the serration edge has multiple waves. Serrations are large with a good tip serration. The root is thick and extra wide. Our 2nd November FOTM is a GEM quality, rare Araucaria mirabilis pine cone specimen from Argentina. Extra large stem. Exceptional definition. Only slightly compressed.
