A rare, Top Quality Hadrosaur tooth from the late Cretaceous of Mississippi. Hadrosaurs are known as "duck-bill" dinosaurs found in North America. The enamel is good quality with excellent color / patina. A partial crown with possible serrations. No repair or restoration. An exceptionally preserved, fossil Ice Age dog (Canis familiaris) jaw with four teeth from southern Germany. These dogs were domesticated from the wolves by man for hunting and were found around paleolithic hunting encampments. They lived around the mountain caves from central Europe to Russia during the Ice Age. An ultra rare, top quality 5-5/8" Sharktooth Hill Megalodon tooth. A location that produces very few large Megalodon teeth and one of the toughest Megs to locate. Note - the interlocking indentations along the side of the root lobes. This characteristic is only seen in the early to middle Miocene Megs - very unique!  A Museum quality specimen. No repair! You will not see these middle Miocene Sharktooth Hill Megs from Bakersfield, California very often!  One of the rarest Megs! A collection piece from the old days.

A GEM 5-1/4" BLACK over GRAY colored Megalodon tooth - an upper jaw ANTERIOR tooth. This exceptional Meg tooth is our September 2017 Fossil of the Month.
