A "Flying" TOP QUALITY Walliserops trifurcatus trilobite, the "trident Comura".  A November Fossil of the Month and one of the collector's favorite spiny trilobites. Walliserops trifurcatus is an unusual looking species with three rows of of spines run down its back and a trident-like fork extending from the front of the cephalon. The preparation is German controlled with all original colors and no restoration. Exceptional completeness and preservation. Great natural black shell with excellent luster. The bottom of this trilobite has been cleaned out and it sits on an 1" matrix pedestal. A very difficult species to prepare. Excellent shell and spine preservation. Compound eyes are very good. A rare, LARGE Top Quality Auriculatus tooth from the Pamunkey River, Virginia. An exceptional upper jaw anterior tooth. A nice tan & brown colored crown with a brown colored bourlette and root. Highest quality enamel. Excellent color & preservation. The serrations are large and sharp with a worn tip serration. The root is complete, extra large, and well preserved.
