A very rare Glyphis glyphis tooth, the Speartooth shark, from Sumatra, Indonesia. These teeth were deposited in the Telisa formation - a shallow marine environment during the middle Miocene (approx. 15 million years ago.) A very unique collector's tooth. A rare Mako shark tooth from Sumatra, Indonesia. These teeth appear to be juvenile Isurus desori teeth (narrow crown) and are scarce in the Sumatran deposit. An EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Ptychodus whipplei, an extinct durophagous (shell-crushing) shark, tooth from Collin Co., Texas. An excellent example of this Upper Cretaceous Arcadia Park Fm. tooth.
