A Top Quality Ptychodus latissimus, an extinct durophagous (shell-crushing) shark, tooth from Ellis Co., Texas. An excellent example of this Upper Cretaceous Atco Fm. tooth. A Top Quality Tyrannosaurus rex tooth. This is a large Premaxillary tooth ("Premax") or front tooth in the jaw which have a "D" shape. An October Fossil of the Month. This Premax Rex crown measures 2-3/16" and is very thick for its size (1"). The enamel is highest quality. Great rich chocolate brown color. The serrations are exceptional going to the tip. There is essentially no wear facet at the tip which is not typical for a Premax tooth. One small crack, but no break. No repair or restoration. An ultra rare, Top Quality Red Site Carcharocles megalodon posterior tooth from the Rappahanic River, Virginia. An incredibly rich copper-red color. Fantastic color! The enamel is the highest quality. The serrations are sharp and complete with a tip serration. Bourlette is dark brown and complete. The root is complete. Definitely a Miocene Meg with serration bumps at base. Note - you rarely see a copper red colored Megalodon tooth that has a top quality crown and serrations and a complete root. A very rare, Sphenodus tooth, from a very early shark. Absolutely great preservation - excellent condition with extra sharp cutting edges. These are Upper Jurassic age from Voskresensk, Russia. Note - there appears to be very minor repair (patch) on the rear of root (1/16" sliver area); left hand corner of the root of this tooth (rear side). Repair not visible front the display side. Bargain priced for a rare, killer Sphenodus tooth!

A TOP QUALITY, EXTRA LARGE & very rare Archaeocete whale, Zygorhiza kochii. Our November Fossil of the Month is a highly desirable Zygorhiza molar or "yoke" tooth.  An exceptional light brown colored crown and tan root. Nicely articulated. Complete root. This tooth has minimal repair to 2nd & 4th cusp on the left side and a small amount to the 4th cusp on the right side. Very little repair overall for a yoke tooth which are typically heavily repaired.  The BEST Archaeocete molar that I have seen from So. Carolina in a long time. A very rare collector's tooth.
